Your GXP was putting down 360 to the wheels???? What mods did you have done?? Just curious. I noticed your trap speed was 108 in your best 1/4 mile. My LS1 Camaro wasn't putting down 360 to the wheels (333RWHP) yet I was hitting 110 - 111. I'm thinking a 360 WHP GXP or Impala SS would be trapping at over 110.

I don't really think it would trap over 110, the FWD makes launches tricky, with traction being a problem.

I wonder what this system would do on 10 lbs. boost, some 100 octane race gas, new Intense 1.8 rockers, springs, and pushrods, true dual exhaust, and the bottle .

the 108 was the 309 whp {50 shot or so}

the 360 was, a lot more, the calcs said 120. only did this on the dyno to see what it would do
360 fwhp, 421 fwft lbs. it came really close to spinning on the dyno. the numbers kept spiking, so we added more straps and got it to stick. changed the jets back to the "50 shot" and went home

In my experiences with my Z28 the launch really didn't effect the trap speed to much, just the final 1/4 time. You know what they say, your 1/4 mile time is all about the driver while your trap speed is more about the cars HP.

That makes a lot of sense now area47. Thanks!!

Hey guys, anyone ever dyno with a tune, CAI, roller rockers and exhaust. I'd be very curious to know what they are putting down. Also I've been toying with launching this thing and agree with NachoSS, it's very tricky. I've read we want to run the whole 1/4 in drive 2, is that true. My only launch today I spun for like 60+ feet without a building up any RPM's at all. How do you guys do it?

They say to run it in 2nd and then manually shift into third at the end.
