More than likely ... they are the same under the sheet metal and plastic. Just do a test fit.
Was it you that was going to give them away for $600??? What's the OEM replacement price? The tires are like $230 / ea on tirerack.

I researched a bit and everything I saw says they'll fit. Since he's your friend, do like Kaz said and test fit them to be sure. To the right person, they are worth quite a bit, so hopefully you'll make out good.
