How would I do against a 350Z?

How would I do against a 350Z? My friend has an 03 350Z 6 spd, with headers and catback. He wants to run my car sometime, from both a roll and a dig. I know for a fact he can't launch the car worth a crap, so I can probably get him from a stop. But going from a roll might be difficult. How do you guys think I'll do? I'm all stock BTW.

It's gonna be a driver's race from a dig. I ran a 13.66@102 in my stock 2003 350Z with street tires (Toyo T1-Rs) on a 1.98 60ft. However I'm decent at launching it. I think you'll have him from a dig if he can't launch.
From a roll his shorter gearing will likely have you, depending on starting speed. Although, I'd recommend he get UTEC software if he really wants to see good gains out of the cat-back and headers he has.

thats crap the monte carlo is faster and is in that price range. monte can smoke the mustang GT easily.

I had tons of fun with a 350Z on the QEW coming back to Buffalo from a Yankees game in Toronto last summer/fall.
I was cruising at about 100 when i got to him and he took it as a challenge. With the 350 behind me, we zigged and zagged for about 10miles at 120-130 and found a newer Acura TL-S. He also bit on the challenge but fell to the back of the pack. With me in the front, the 350Z just couldn't build up the speed to get around, and eventually we slowed to 110 or so. After we slowed, the Acura, seeing his opportunity hit the gas and did a fly-by at about 130 (as if we cared) and whattaya know...seconds later he gets pinged by the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police). My V1 had alerted me so i was able to get down to about 95, and seeing my brakes, the 350 did the same. I slid in between two tractor trailers and the OPP raced up the fast lane and grabbed the TL.
...almost needed to change my pants on that one.

The mechanically similar Monte Carlo SS would likely have made this list as well, but when we asked GM for one to test, we were told: "We are not interested in sending you that car."

This is cool I got some shumck face friend of mine with a Stanza/ALTIMA v6 and stick..I'd love to rub in his face that the W car will rool right over a 350z...Its amazing the magazines didnt get a better time out of these cars. its like the ran it once down the track and quit.....
