HELP - Motor mount flip mod I'm trying to do the motor mount flip mod on my 07 Impala SS but I don't quite understand the instructions. I've read the posts on this forum but still need a little help. Does anyone have before and after pictures of the mod?

I didn't understand this at first either. Stand in front of the car, take the bolt off that is in the middle of the rubber mount, then take off the black mount and put the bolt back in. Get a socket for each side of the bolt and then lube up the mount good with some wd40 and then take the 2 socket wrenches and move them in the direction of the windshield 1-2 turns and you should be good.

Motor Mount Flip Mod SUCCESS!!!!
Thanks a MILLION! I saturated the motor mount bushing with WD40 and let it soak for about 5 minutes. Then I used two 15mm sockets and rotated it with NO problem. I think the secret is use lots of lubricant and let it soak in and around the bushing before you try and rotate it.

Doing it before it's baked in helps too. If your car is relatively new, it will be much easier than doing it after 15,000mi of intense underhood temps.
