Default Best LS4 MPH?

What is the best LS4 mph (1/4mile) to date? What is the average bone stock mph for that matter? I'm trying to figure out what some mods (HP tuners/CAI/Exhaust/rockers/springs/75NOS(Progressive) would get me MPH wise, got a friend at work with M3(03-05 I believe) who's gonna give me one car length in the quarter, his car probably traps 106-110mph I'd guess mid 13's. I'm not too concerned with ET, just that mph! He's not gonna 60' foot better than me sitting a car length ahead and leaving first!

Actually you should be very concerned about the 60 foot, mastering that in these cars is what will help you get the speed you want.

I have seen most guys stock running low 14s at 100

With a few mods high 13s at 106 or so.

X2. You can have the quickest car in the world, but if your 60' is 2-3 seconds and the other car grips and goes, its all over with.

M3, on 18"+ tires, with a driver concerned about a V8 LSX sitting a car length in front of him will probably equal ton's of wheelspin , if he catches me it'll be midrange somewhere, which means he's gonna beat me regardless! I do agree with you guy's on the 60ft, just don't think this race would be won/lost because of the 60' (unless someone just smoke's'em!). Thanks for the replies! Wanna know those Trap speeds!

Not much... GTP intake, catless DP, 1.8 HS rocker's, 918 springs, and my tune is it for perf mods other than drag radials that hooked like big wheel tires.

for comparison, I can pretty much guarantee that I have the worst. Out here at Thunderbird track in Muskegan, MI. this evening. A hot day had finally faded to a mere 88F. Fully loaded Impy SS (and by loaded, I mean both with options and assorted items in the trunk and cabin.) Tire pressure at 37 in both front tires. Just about idled off the line and s.l.o.w.l.y. put the hammer down. Tire spin, bad...let up on the gas, get some traction, repeat over and over again until PAST the 330' mark.

2.69x 60', unable to go WOT until near half-way, 15.7+ @93.xx

Second run, although I hate changing anything for the track that I don't run on the street, I dropped the tire pressure to 31lbs in both fronts.

Again, spun down the track, in and out of the gas, got pissed as it was squealing at the 330' and just kept my foot to the floor after that. Kept spinning for another 30ft or so and finally grabbed. That one (and forgive me, the slip is in the car now, so this is from memory) gave me a 10.15 in the 1/8th at some horribly slow 60 something MPH, but it sure pulled hard to the end after that. 15.8xx @94.xx (2.700 60')

A couple of bikes were running and the two that went in front of me (one lane open at a time only, t&t night) e.t.'d around the high 12's/low 13's at 101 and 103 MPH (so the air was pretty crummy) A pretty healthy sounding (new bodystyle) of the WRX was pulling 14.5's @ 95 right behind me on my first run. Not an excuse, just for comparision.

Too much torque for the FWD Impy. Could not put it to the ground until close to 50MPH, bad air, bad track, bad driver, too hot? Take your pick. A little from each is what I believe.

I can hammer down on the street well below that speed, the track itself was pretty slick.
