Stock 18" SS wheels
Stock 18" SS wheels So are the stock polished 18" SS wheels on my Imp bare aluminum or are they coated? They seem to be bare to me, but I'm not sure. One thing I noticed when I had them off was the "CHINA" stamp in the back side of the casting. That kind of p.o.'d me. I understand that a fair amount of the electronic stuff would be imported, but the SS signature wheels? I think the General missed the mark on that.
They're coated - use wax.
Everything is made in China these days. Some day we'll all be required to conceive and give birth to our kids over there so they'll be "made in China" too... unless of course they take us over before that happens and then the whole world will be Chinese. At least they have tasty food.
