Went to Mid Michigan Motorplex in Stanton tonight, it was a cool night around 50 degrees or so. Best run was a 13.806 @102.01mph. Ran a few other 13.8x's..... as well. I found the car ran quickest with the traction control on, yet still had to ease into it off the line. Car hits rev limiter in 2nd just before the end of the 1/4 mile. Need to get me a tuner to allow the rev limiter to be raised up. Turned a few heads as many did not expect that out of a 06 Monte SS. Mods are listed below.

Those who are using drag radials, what size rim and tire are you using? Also what are the rims from?

What size tire and what are the rims from? I have a set of MT ET Streets 10.5" x 26.5 that are on 5 lug Mustang 16" rims, wondering if they will bolt up and fit. Anybody know what our wheel bolt pattern and backspacing is? Will it screw with my rpms/shifting?

Very nice runs and what a MPH! I was hitting 100MPH all stock with my air tube cocked in the air box. Was this you first time at the track?

Bolt pattern is 5 X 115.

Not sure about backspacing, but you can get away with a +35 - +45 offset.

Wow, very nice times. I bet that shift kit made a hell of a difference. 102mph is nothing to scoff at, if I can get my car to run high 13's I'll be happy ( For a while)

a shift kit isnt gonna make a huge difference. its more feeling then anything. its all on the launch that u get a good time. the slower the take off the better really. my 60ft is usually 2.20-2.30 and i still hit 13.6 at 105mph

60 foots:

2.164 on the 13.80 run, 2.172 on a 13.819 run, 2.154 on a 13.860 run.

This is my second time to the track with this car. I have been racing otherwise for some time now.
