Looks great Mel. I love those white montes. Sometimes I appreciate how the black ones look merely for the fact that the wheel gap is not NEARLY as noticeable.

No...you just don't notice the painted part on the black (darker) cars.

Eibach Pro Kit...i believe it works on the Monte. Runs about $250 and lowers the car 1.2". Rougher ride, but better handling. As far as how easy the install is, IDK. I want to do mine too, but am going to wait until i get the wheels installed to see what kind of fender clearance i have (after rolling them) and how bad the ride quality turns out to be.

Nice ride. Very clean. A little lowering would make it look even better with getting rid of some of that wheel gap. Look into vogtland springs. I have read that they provide a nice subtle drop and a good ride. They are the manfacturer of the GMPP lowering kit for the 97-03 w-bodies. I have read that the drop is similar to the GMPP kit. I know the years are different but it's just another option then going with eibachs.

Since you're the thread originator...i'll answer your off-topic questions...lol.

I'm getting the Boss 327b wheels wrapped with 255/35R20 Kuhmo Escta Summer tires. I've had the tires sitting in my front hall for a couple weeks now, but got a bad shipment of wheels from American Eagle (though no fault of LS1 vendor "TomzWheels")...turned out to be 4 "rejects" that were in one way or another damaged. Sent them back and bought 4 more from JDWheels in Ohio...which should be arriving on Thursday, just in time for some snow

Cost me $555 for the rubber w/Road Hazard protection, $800 for the wheels, $186 for the new TPMS sensors and probably another $150 for install. Still need to roll the rear fenders to accept the 255's, but she's gonna look great. Picture the following with tinted tails and painted headlights...but the lip on the wheels is fatter than it appears in the photochop...and i don't have those purdy brake rotors:

As for the answer to your Q about hexx's tinted lights...he got them done by www.jonstintedtails.com. He was going to get them darker...don't know if he did, yet.

Buffalo is correct. Jons tinted tails. I got them done darker, but they still have the stupid brown reflection to them in the sunlight. Sending them back soon to get darkened. Pretty soon these are going to be daylight only lights. And I'll have to carry my spare set in the trunk for serious night time driving. :-)

Yeah I've gotten pretty good...I can swap them both in a minute or so. Helps to have an automatic drill or something handy though.

Hexx...have you looked into cracking them open to paint the interior yet? Or aren't you willing to possibly screw up Jon's handiwork? LOL

I have parts & parts & parts from my headlights now. A member at NAIOA sold me a set he had done that needed some TLC, and when i got them he had two more complete headlights in the box...so now i'm up to almost 10 headlights in different stages of completeness...lol.
