need help? when my car is in 4th gear and the torque convertor locks and i believe dod has activated the car feels like it is missfiring or hiccuping when i give it light throttle.. anyone elses car do this or is something wrong? also does anyone know how i can shut off the DOD or can you only do it with a tuner?

Sounds like it's that "seamless transitioning" between 8 and DoD mode.
The only effective way to disable DoD is through tuning or driving with you PRNDL selector in 3, or you could always try to stay on the throttle!
