How many of you guys have gotten an alignment? I got my car aligned the other day, because the wheel was off after I got a new steering rack installed. It seems to drive straighter now, no more pull to the right, but now the wheel shakes on the highway. Could something be off with the alignment? Keep in mind I had my tires road forced balanced a few weeks ago, so there should be no issue with wheel balance. Not sure what to do now, please chime in with any ideas.

Even though you balanced your tires doesn't mean that they inspected if rim is bent they will just add more weights to try to balance but you will still have the wubble on high speed. just my 1/2cent.lol.

after a steering rack install, the only alignment that GM calls for is for the tow-in... not an actual 4-wheel alignment...
I know, cuz I went through it and talked to the service guy that was working on my car...

Yeah, I remember you ( and the service advisor himself) telling me this, so I went out and got a four wheel alignment done at a reputable body shop ( they use a new Hunter machine) Ever since that I've had the aligment done I now have this shake on the highway. I suppose its possible the tires need to be balanced again, just seems odd to me.
