Looks much better. As an additional suggestion, I'd throw asSide-door SS on the back trunk too...with all that space, the larger SS also looks great. Digging the Kiss my SS sticker too =)

My wife picked up the new SS emblem should I put it where the other emblem was or where the Bowtie was?

... I'm thinking where the SS emblem is from the factory.

At one time I was thinking of transferring my SS badge to the drivers side to replicate the mid 80's "Monte Carlo SS"decals, never got around to it.

Roll some masking tape and stick it to the large SS and try it out in multiple locations before you decide. The GM adhesive is a PITA to get off if you stick it in the wrong place.

I replaced my trunk SS with a larger door SS...looks better back there. I still have the "IMPALA" lettering back there too...so it doesn't look so awkward, imo. I may still slap an Impala logo where the bowtie used to be...not sure about that though.

That's retro 90's IIRC ... should look good.

I personally like the Red Bowties (red used to stand for racing), not the grandma gold ones.

Do they make any red bowties that approximate the gold ones on the car now? I thought that blue was for granny and gold was for trucks....

I just removed the rear bowtie on my trunk lid, just looked too big and out of place to me. Eventually I'll remove the front one in the grill and replace it with an "SS" door badge.

I've been looking for a red outlined by black, I believe the late 90's MC's had a raised larger bowtie.

Decals are readily available if you don't have a red car. I like the look of carbon fiber for the reds.

And yes Count, your colors are right.
