We Have a Celeb Amongst Us! So, I'm enjoying a little "quiet / me time", looking at the March '08 GMHTP magazine, turned to page 12 and recognized the car in the article ...

Good job on the camaro. What is annoying, and why I almost (and may yet) cancalled my subs. is that they (GMHTP) didn't even mention the fact that you have one of the fastest ls4 cars in the country. They seem to ignore the front drives, even with an ls motor. That really bugs me. They did have an article on a non sc cobalt though, just had an article on a tbss with an slp package too, for what little thats worth by stating the obvious. When I had my old lt1 caprice classic there was some decent coverage. Maybe should change the name to GMLowTech perfomance or Fbody/Grand National performance.
meh... ive done the race car thing before, its fun for about a week. Street cars with all the amenneties intact and are stupid fast yet is where its at. Id be lucky to break 12.80s with a cam and gears in the monte... Not exactly a real street terror these days.

Back when I was your guy's age, a mid 13 sec daily driven, all wheel drive, tow vehicle, sport utility was unheard of. Now it's no big deal. Any thing that ran 12's was considered very fast. Oh well, I'm getting tired now and am going to take a nap, then go play bingo if I ever find my glasses...
