Onstar RearView mirror Does anyone know how to take this thing apart , i've looked at it for almost 30 minutes trying to figure it out. it looks like it just pops open but i wanted to know if anyone else has opened one up or if they "for some reason" have a spare they can mess with. I'm trying to insalate it due to the fact 90% of my rattle from music comes from this fuqing mirror.
Yeah, I was pretty miffed when I tried to figure it out. I can tell you that if you gently press in on the microphone at the bottom of the mirror, it will fall into the mirror and you can get a better look at the insides. Maybe figure out how to get it apart??? Good luck.

I've taken mine apart. You need to pry it apart carefully along the crack that runs all the way around the mirror. It pretty much snaps apart and snaps back together. I put a couple marks on mine from prying a little too hard but i started on the top so you couldnt really see them.
