quick STB question

quick STB question I'm getting ready to order the modified front STB bar and standard rear STB bar with the front and rear brackets, but I don't know whether to pay extra for painted. How do they come if I don't pay for painted? I'm assuming they're painted black like the pictures show right?
I'm pretty sure they come painted black, if you get them painted. If not, then you'll probably just get them with the paint missing from the area where flip cut, re-welded, and finished the braces.

Depends if Flip has any bars done or not. You'll most likely get your brackets first. I got my brackets in not quite a week I think. And as mentioned they will be all black. But, they'll be a mess when you try and take the stickers off that come on them from GM. The adhesive from the stickers was REALLY hard to get off. I sanded mine down and painted them myself. Not sure how much they charge to paint it for you, but since the paint only costs 5 bucks I did it myself. Mine also came really beat up, chipped and scratched, but from what I hear Flip was changing the method in which he shipped them so they'll be wrapped up and not subject to getting so scratched and what not.
