Default 06 Impala SS had to go!

Sorry to report that my dealings with the dealership and GM customer disservice over two years have come to an end. After repeated trips to the dealership and no return phone calls,Yes I've been nice to them!,From The customer hotline,After 23K miles I ditched my Impala SS and bought an 08 Bullitt Mustang.Don't flame,Since the demise of the GTO,GM has nothing with this type of performance in a rear drive to offer me fo $31,000.I've had good luck with GM's in the past and with Fords so the decision was obvious.Sorry to see it go but they couldn't fix it!

Damn sorry to here that man. You should of waited for another 6 months then bought a G8 GXP with the LS3 and 6 speed manual. It would of been a little more then the Bullitt but a damn nice car. Hell even the G8 GT starts under $30k and has the L76 6.0l and 6 speed auto. Good luck with the Moostang and have fun.

Yep! The G8 GT's L76 engine will generate 362 HP and run 0-60 in 5.3 secs. That's GTO territory. And as stated above, the GXP will be even faster.

Cool looking car, even for a Ford.

G8 would have been the logical choice, but hey, if you want a coupe, get a coupe!

The Bulllitts are pretty cool. As long as you like it that's all that matters. And no sense in waiting that long for an LS3 GXP that's nothing more than speculation at this point. I'd never wait for a car unless it's actually confirmed to be in production. Goodluck with the Stang.

EDIT: Okay, so maybe there's slightly more than speculation now..
