Tip-in question after Intense FWI install...is this normal?
Hi All. I installed an Intense Fenderwell intake today after I changed my oil. I am just getting used to how the car shifts after the tranny rebuild and I can hear the throttle open now so this may be in my head, but I could swear there is now a slight delay from the time I hit the gas pedal to the time that the car reacts. I can hear the TB open through the new filter (makes a quick suck sound)then about a second later the rest of the car responds. Does anyone know if this requires a tune to get rid of?
I checked for intake air leaks (around the MAF, around the filter) but I didn't see any.
What are your thoughts? Does anyone else have this intake without a tune?
Thanks,
BJ

I'm tuned and I get this, its just electronic-related delay. A cable throttle body would be more instantaneous, our compys have to tell other compys to open the throttle so there is a slight delay. Just mod it more an forget about it.
