I'm looking to replace the stock speakers and I was wondering what you recommend, I heard we have 2 ohm speakers, where can you find 2 ohm speakers?

um just go to crutchfield.com and put in your vehicle and it will tell you the speakers you need and the adapters. But i have to say the stock speakers aren't bad the 8 speaker system is kind of a rip because they just move the tweeter outside of the cone of the woofer but its loud and clear

Not sure if the Monte is different, but on the non-Bose system in the imp, I keep hearing that the rears are 8ohm and the front are 4.

If you wire two 4 ohm speakers in series you'll get 8 ohms.
