Has anyone noticed that the North American Car Market seems to always get the short end of the stick?
I dont know why, we are the largest consumer of oil drive the most of any other country.

The only difference is cosmetic plastic and badging for foreign sale. They did the same thing with the GTO. You can likely even buy after market parts because it is not a new platform.

If you're referring to the original question, its the Lumina SS from the Mid. East.
In the brocure they sent me it said they came std with XM.

It is the G8 as GM sells it in the Middle East. For some reason the Lumina is popular over there, as such the G8 is called the Chevy Lumina for the name recongition in the Middle Eastern market. The SS is the G8 GT. My buddy had a 'Lumina' out from his job at the GM tech center, badged exactly like that under the camo.
Fun fact, for cost cutting or whatever the Lumina also has an open differential on it. It was fun watching him try to drive it in the Michigan winter. Henh henh.

I wish ... the dealer said they couldn't get the wiring harness change in time for the launch. Maybe they will get it done mid-year.
The more I see the Magnetic Gray, the more I like it. Yeah, I also need a stick. Interior was way cool, like "not GM". Left an impression on me, my opinion was that the car looked way more expensive that $31K.
