Brake hose for GXP

Brake hose for GXP I had a brake hose fail on my front passenger side. That was exciting but not reason for the post. After searching every where local there was one thing consistant. All of the brake hoses listed for GXP using aftermarket doesnt resemble ours at all. Not even close. Bought some vice grips and clamped her off to get it home.
Bottom line. OEM brake hose ordered and arrived 4 (four) days later from Michigan. It was the closest on hand.
If you lose a brake hose , do not think advanced auto, pep boys, napa will have one that will be close to fitting. I guess if your willing to trial and error a dozen or so you might get lucky.
Just a heads up.

I gave the dealer my vin number for the 05 GXP. The quickest hose was found in Michigan. It arrived on the fourth day. My GM dealer did a dealer search and zippo.
I was shocked but the GXP brakes are different! There truly is not THAT many GXP's out there.

Yeah I was talking to my dealer about the GXP model and they were saying that only 3% of all Grand Prix's are GXP's. Now I'm taking his word for it, and I don't have any official gm documents that prove it
