2008 impala SS.. can anyone help? Can anyone help? 2008 impala SS .. Had the car for a couple of months now.. Very happy w it and want to add some performance upgrades. First, i was looking at this cold air intake from a co. called coldairinductions.com .. looks pretty good. Next thing, since predator does not support the 08's yet anyone know if the JET PCM will do what they claim it does? and how about the JET mass air sensor? will these mods work? Last anyone know of any cheap exhaust mods.. like a by-pass. Buddie of mine did this to an 01 vette where they added to small pipes from right before to right after mufflers where as some of the exhaust gases would not go through mufflers. He said he can feel a difference and sounds pretty good when at high rpm. Or is the Magna flow the only way to go? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks John N
Welcome to the board. There are alot of topics about performance parts, DIABLOSHIT, and exhaust. The best thing you could do is a search through the LS4 fourm and you will find what your looking for.

The Bypass you are talking about is called an Exhaust Cut out. You can get them for any car mather of fact they are not made for a specific make or model but rather for the diameter of your exhaust pipes. In your case you need a 2.5" for the stock exhaust.
DMH and QTP make electronic cut outs.
A cutout before your cat will give you better performance than the Magnaflow.
Don't know about the jet tune.
For intake CAI or K&N whatever you like better.
