In dash changer At the risk of sounding stupid- how do you operate the in dash changer? The dealer swears that my GXP is equipt with an in dash changer but If it is either I'm just an idiot or it's a secret as to how to operate it.

You think that's dumb? I didn't even know it was a 6-disc changer until a week after I'd bought the car and went to put a cd in it. I was starting to think the damn thing was broken because it wouldn't take it!

If your CD player accepts cd's without having to push any button "meaning you just push the cd into it without any problems" then it is only a single cd player and i would double check your paper work to see if there is suppose to be the 6disccd changer or not.

I found out on the Chevy that if you hold down the eject button it will spit out all the discs or if you hold down the load button it will eat all the disc and it can do this with the key out.
Sometimes it is easier to ask than to search a forum or read a manual as some things are not usually made clear from time to time.

My car came with a 6-disc changer but never played MP3s. Then after getting in a wreck my car would not load CDs anymore so I went to GM to have it fixed under warranty. So they replaced the unit and it now plays MP3s. Cool GM!
