Wow...

http://www.hoganperformance.com/DP7S.htm

409 Stainless Steel $ 289.95

Note: We have had a few recent reports of a PO420 code setting a check engine light with this item. This has not been a reoccurring issue but we thought it best to inform you of the possibility. Hogan Performance will not warranty this item due to this code. There are several companies who offer computer reprogramming or computer tuner to eliminate this issue.

This is our top of the line down pipe and converter assembly for 05-06 V-8 GXP and 06 V-8 Impala SS and 06 Monte Carlo SS. This unit incorporates our exclusive machined upper flange, free flowing 3” 409 Stainless Steel mandrel bent down pipe with a new Magnaflow high flow converter and a 3” outlet pipe (outlet pipe is reduced to 2.5” at rear flange to allow connection with factory or aftermarket Cat Back Systems) O2 sensor bung and hanger included. Remove 4 bolts and your old converter and this unit bolts right in place! See our Accessories page for all of your gaskets.

Key Benefits
409 Stainless Steel mandrel bent tubing

Stainless steel flex coupler

Custom made heavy steel flanges front and rear

True bolt on with hand tools

Magnaflow Super Hi Flow Catalytic Converter

That's what I got with the Magnaflow catback and it threw the PO420 code after like a month. I drove it with the SES light on for awhile but got it tuned out now.

You got a code with just a catback? You have other issues then.

No he got it with the pipe. I got the same thing...

The Hogan catted pipes eventually throw a code... Thankfully I had a tuner.

Yes, any downpipe you put on that has a cat or not will throw codes.
