The car also sounds like one. I'm not a NASCAR fan, but the same thought entered my mind.
I found a twin of the car if this one is popped for $1K more than what the insurance will give me if she's totaled, which will be my "Plan B".
They should have it apart by tomorrow morning, I want to check the rear suspension for damage from being picked up and dropped. The quarters are buckled slightly from the C pillars, which I didn't notice in the dark.
The front looks cosmetic (hopefully).

Got my rental today - Pontiac Grand Prix. Yeah!
See what you guys were talking about the seats, looks like the Imp's were shorted.

Was hoping to get a pic of the cops w/ it today, maybe shoot for Thursday.

Got the car tore apart today - cabin and engine compartment are intact; mostly sheet metal and plastic damage. Front and rear subframe impact zones weren't touched. Looks like a lot of new parts and painting.
Maybe having bald tires in the rain was a good thing!
Preliminary estimate - over $7,500 w/ fixing plastic that is beat pretty good, which will more than likely be replaced.
Should have it by end of next week.
