You guys never looked into HID retrofits? I was going to get it done on my 08 Accord but I got rid of it for the GXP. I'll be contacting the companies I was looking into and see what they can do. The GXP fogs are projector style right?

These are made by Angel Eyes...same manufacturer of the LED tails...so I'm thinking that you'll be getting these soon, and we will be getting the LED tails, too (or at least i HOPE!)

You mean having custom projectors installed into the GP headlights? Typically, quality HID projector retrofits cost BIG bucks...upwards of $1200+.

And yes, the GXP (and Imp/MC) fogs are projectors.

The cheapeast I've seen from a company that seemed fairly reputable would have still cost over $800 when I checked one time. I'd be very leary on a job that cost 300 bucks. You have to figure the cost of the projectors they're going to use(Acura TSX projectors seem to be the most common), plus all the labor that's involved. It's a very labor intensive process. Plus the more custom stuff you want done, i.e. halo's or custom painting further increases the price.

Our headlights, new, generally cost $125+shipping per side. The projectors are probably another $250 (?) and then the labor. If you go HID, a "quality" HID kit is $400+. It adds up quick!

Oh yea, now that you mention that Buff, that 800ish price I had seen wasn't including the cost of a new set of headlights to ship off. Which unless you have another car to drive it's obviously a necessity.

I love them!

First off, since a few at NAIOA thought the LEDs blink...the LED's are just sidemarkers...not blinkers...

I'm all wired up (temporarily into the parking lights) and snapped some photos. Don't know where to start...but sorry it took so long..and sorry I don;t have better nighttime shots. I don't know if my camera has a night setting, but the auto setting only shows glare.

Halos and lows:

Could only post 20 at a time, so I split up the post:

Another darker shot:

And lastly... quick shot showing how I wired up the halos (to the parking lights):

Tap red wire from halos to the red wire of the turn signal bulb, and black wire from the halos to the black wire from the turn signal bulb.

I'm taking suggestions on how to wire up a nice switch for these, as well as figure out a way to reverse-blink the led sidemarkers (off when signal on, on when signal off...but only when parking or headlights are on). All help would be appreciated.

wow, looks cool Chris!!!

how does the light output compare to the stock chrome housings tho?? doesn't look like they light up as much of the road (or as bright anyway) in front of ya as the stockers do...

Wow, those look even better that I thought they would, hopefully these will come out for the GP's. Chris, did you install them with the supplied halogens, or your HID's??

They're still his halogens. The lights use a different bulb type than stock.

Yeah, I need to find (buy) a set of H3 HIDs, or the shorter H3c HIDs, to be exact. Some say that regular HIDs in projector housings cause too much scattered light and/or they may not fit at all. The H3c's are what I need...and I'm trying to find the best price on a set.

Lew...after re-aiming the projectors the light output is better, but IDK how it compares to stock...since I haven't been stock in forever.

I took more photos if anyone cares to check out the thread @ NAIOA....pg 6

http://www.naioa.com/v2/modules.php?...399&highlight=

I'm working on making the sidemarker LED's blink, and hope to have it all done by week's end. After that, it's on to installing a switch for the halos...since I don't like having them on all the time...especially with the non-matching, ugly, yellow halogens.
