Default new guy..

whats up everyone.. been reading alot of forums and you guys really know your stuff. thanks for all the info so far. well i put flow master 44's on and eliminated the res and it sounds real aggressive. i hope the video works. dod sucks and the wife complains it to loud when she takes the kids. other than that when you get on it.. people turn to see whats coming. i want to go 3" all the way back with a chambered ehaust, no mufflers. how much louder do you think it would get?

Welcome. Exhaust sounds good, but you need some new tips to fill in the monsterous voids back there now.

It will sound like this (although I don't think these cars rev as quick as an LS1 / LS6):

http://s17.photobucket.com/albums/b7...carvidclip.flv

No female I have met to date has ever said the car sounds great. All of my male friends are automotive orientated, so they all like the sound.

Use your car for business clients? Maybe / maybe not, depending on your personal goals / self esteem level. Use your car for pleasure - yes! Will the wife care? Who knows ... depending on the gal - maybe a high maintainance one will, but back to the self esteem level.

And welcome BTW!

your right Kaz.. but it sounds better than what i have, mine resonates so bad inside the car and thats what annoying. i love the take off sound. it just around 2000 rpms it will vibrate your fillings out. i want something mellow until when you get on it, then it sings out loud.

I'm afraid the chambered system is going to be loud all over the power band. I've already taken care of amps/subs/speakers so I want to be able to make my exhaust overly-audible now.

i went as far as Dyno matting the whole trunk to see if it would help with the resonating but it still sounds like there is a Apache helicopter back there. i dont think it would be so noticeable if the dod didnt kick in. damn!
