Yes Or No? does the ls4 motor need back pressure? i have read several forums that have to do with exhaust and some say straight threw others say mufflers/resonaters to keep back pressures so you don't lose your low end power.
i live in wichita ks and hogan's performance is in topeka ks about two hours away. my plan is to get a 3 in. down pipe with a high flow cat and split into 2.5 muffs. as you know from my earlier post, i am getting rid of my flowmaster 44's which the wife hates. i think i am going with the manga flow and a cutout. i was going to drive there but wanted to get some input first.

All gas engines need some factor of back pressure. Your exhaust plans aren't hurting the engines need for back pressure...you would need to run open headers (or downpipe?) on these cars to hurt something. The only thing you will notice is a slight loss of power down low (not bad on LS4 cars-they boil the tires anyway) but a gain up top in the power band.

now the programmer...??? not many choice for 08'. have you heard about mg customs (i think thats it)out of canada? you need to send him your tcm and pcm and he will flash them and send it back. he said it is untraceable by the dealership. who knows
Buy HP Tuners, try to figure it out by yourself...if you can't then a dyno tune will solve your problems.
