Trinity by DS. Anyone heard about this new programer coming out soon from DiabloSport, called Trinity.
Just wondering if it will have the TCM Support. It looks sweet as hell, and if it is out by X-Mas I'll be asking my wife for it.
Was just corious as to everyones thoughts about another DS product. I already know how you all feel about their current tuner. Hopefully this one will do what were are looking for.

the trinity will be sweet, when it comes out... dunno what that will be... and probably depends on how fast they just want to get it out there... if they wait until everything is updated with tranny support, all the tunes created/converted to be used in it, it will probably be a WHILE before it's released...
but if they don't wait for tranny support to be ready, and just make some model-specific ones to roll out, it could be out sooner rather than later.
what it's SUPPOSED to be is, one product for ALL supported vehicles... no more, model THIS for that car, model THAT for this truck, etc etc... just buy one trinity and that's it - it will work on any supported vehicle that all of the predators now support. It would have tranny support for all vehicles, do live data logging for all vehicles, etc etc... but we shall see... heh..
and the color touch-screen is cool **** too...

nah, the engine code may be the same, but your PCM controller is different for that year...

The eighth (8th) position in the vehicle identification number (VIN) is the code that designates the engine type. The Predator will support the vehicle if the engine code is:
Car: 8th digit of the VIN= U,C
Truck or SUV: 8th digit of the VIN= H
Car: 8th digit of the VIN= U,C
Truck or SUV: 8th digit of the VIN= H

again, the engine code could be the same, cuz it's the LS4, but the PCM/ECM used to control it is different...
just like the 06 and 07 Monte's are the same engine, yet the predator does not work for the 07's, because GM changed the ECM in that model year.
