Monte guys I need your help!! PLEASE!!!! Hey guys, sorry for the trouble but Im having a problem with my seat-belt/airbag light. I know you have helped me already, but my dealer seems to be having trouble fixing my car. Ive told them about the troubles that some of you have had, as they are the same as mine, being the seat belt light comes on every once and awhile along with the airbag light light. Ive heard that the Body Control Module is the fix for this problem. If you, that have had this problem would be so kind to as add to this thread and add the info that has helped your car, I.E. the fix and the dealer you took it to, to help out my dealer too fix my car, (this may also help several others that have had this problem), this would help me greatly. Im sorry for the inconvenience, but I really want my Monte fixed as this is the 4th time its been in for the same problem. I really love my MCSS but I don't want any trouble when the warrenty is up. So if you would PLEASE help me and my dealer I would really appreciate it.

It's the most simple of solutions and probably not your problem, but are you sure the airbag/seatbelt light above the dash is plugged in properly? I would assume you and the dealer would have already checked that, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Yep its still under factory warrenty plus its a cert used vehicle. I took it in last night and they said today around 5 pm that they are going to replace the BCM! Bout damn time, so I guess when I get it back Ill know what they have done for sure. They have to order it and it should be here tomorow.
