Default Steering clicks

Steering makes a audible clicking noise "even over my exhaust cutout" when turning the steering wheel a 1/8th to the left and back to the right. Anyone else have this ? Never had it before.

They just redesigned it again but don't hold your breath. FYI, the last time they replaced my ISS, it actually turned out to be the rack. It made the EXACT same noise the ISS did when it went bad.

I had that if you put it on the lift a shake the tires pretty hard left to right and it makes the noise it's the rack something about a worm gear that loosens. I work at a dealership it took the 3rd A tech to finally find it. after he fixed it my steering felt alot stiffer I had not noticed that it had loosened up so much. What sucks is alot of dealers will keep giving the car to the same tech if it's related to a previous issue they had worked on "b back" my 2nd and 3rd tech checked my car out after hours cause I had gave up on the first tech ever finding it. 3rd tech fixed it without replaceing a thing gonna ask him what exactly he did
