Woodward
I have never been, and was wondering if it is fun. No burn outs, no revving your engine etc are in the "rules" and I was wondering if people stick to that or not.
The burnout rule is normally pretty strictly enforced. The traffic on Woodward is bumper to bumper, the cops literally walk off the median strip or shoulder and hand you the ticket.
Revving, it depends on how much of a bitch the cop is. A general rule of thumb is when cruising just off how nice your car looks, if you want to show off your engine park it and open up the hood.
Also early Sat Morning is the best time to actually be able to drive Woodward.
Most of the time the car next to you will be a lot louder, so much so no one will know you even have a V8.
Normally my Z is the loudest car on the road, but during these cruises there are so many "barely street legal" cars out there it will be middle of the pack.
Rule # 1 w/ LEO's - don't attract attention or challenge them - you will get the ticket.
