Premature worn leather My '06 Monte SS only has 25K km's (15K miles) and the driver seat has some pretty bad, noticeable creases on the side of the cushion closest to the door where it bolsters up. I tried using a leather conditioner but it's no good, it's very noticeable.
Could this be covered under the comprehensive warranty? Anybody else have this on theirs or experience with having this covered under warranty?

won't be covered man... that's normal wear and tear from getting in and out of the seat...

My 07 has some too, however it's not too bad and I don't notice it much. Have you been using a leather cleaner/conditioner from the beginning? It seems like you just started now and that won't make it go away, it's just to help prevent the leather from going to crap, not to fix it.

I've got 33k on mine now and i've cleaned my car at least everymonth and cleaned the seats with leather conditioner/cleaner and i don't have any cracks at all. I think alot may have to do with how slick it makes the leather i just slide around in the seat.

46K or so and no wear. This car is essentially treated as a beater for work (off pavement on gravel/dirt 10%+ of the time) Filthy inside and out and not a bit of wear on the seats. 265lbs here too. Sounds like you got a crappy set of seats is all. Mine have never been cleaned and they look it, but the leather is sound.

Yea that's the only thing I hate about it the seats look great afterwards but they hold you less in place than they already do.

I armoral evverything to keep as much oils in the plastics as i can keeps them from drying out you should also use a silcone on the seals of the door and all outside plastics to keep protect them. You'll thank yourself in 10 years when your car stil looks new.
. I use the Zaino leather products, and the leaather still looks and feels new.

the previeous owner did not take car of my car and i asked the dealer about the seats and its not covered, but i did notice when i clean and condition the leather it looks great,
i clean my car every week, spend about 4 hours i cant stand dirty leather i have to keep my car clean, to the guy that beats on his why?? lol
