This is the rubber boot that goes over the shifter. It's for the 5-speed on the 1993-2002 V6 cars. It is unmodified and in excellent condition. Price is $20+shipping. The part lists for about $50 new.

I don't believe so. If you look at the second picture, the stick for the LS1 is below and just to the right of where the hole is positioned. I suppose it could be trimmed to work, but I'd suggest finding the 6-speed part.
