From: Iowa but in the military so everywhere...
Alrighty...some know that I am getting a new engine...383 stroker. So I need to see if someone wants my old one.
94 LT1
Will come with block, rotating assembly, oil pan, assembled heads, intake manifold and timing chain and cover, optispark, water pump, stock injectors, and prolly some other misc stuff. Engine was pulled out as a whole...still assembled minus water pump and distributor...
Its just the engine...No fuel rails, no valve covers, brackets, pulleys...
It has around 124,xxx miles, Never once had an engine problem. the motor dynoed around 270hp/300tq with a bad T56, oil leak (backside of intake manifold, I could fix it...if need be) and a bad header leak. Never smoked at all and doesnt eat oil. The compression check all came within 3-4% of each other and the internals are good. No piston slap or knocks...
I am just swapping it because heads and cam install and fixing the leaks will cost more than swapping the engine out, so i just decided to get a new engine. I dont want to part it out, nor will I. The engine will have to be shipped from Iowa (my home and where my car is at). I would like to get about $1500 at least for the engine and all the other parts (stock injectors, water pump, distributor with less that 5k on it...Can include Air and emissions too if you want it...)
I also have the McLeod Street twin set up minus the adjustable master cylinder. The flywheel is good. Not sure about the clutch. My mechanic said that the pressure plate is a little burned. I dont have pictures right now and Im not looking to screw someone on it...I had it in the car for roughly 6 months, but my T56 tranny took a dump. The clutch worked just fine when they pulled it out. So shoot me an offer. Im willing to deal with most of it...but the flywheel wont have much room to move on the price $300 for that...and offers for the rest. Hopefully...$6-700 for it all...
Im not looking to get rich off this...but I went $2500 over what I thought was worse case scenario for my engine swap and tranny rebuild...but its all in good condition.
In my sig is a link to my cardomain site...All the pics with the engine in the car...is the engine up for sale...PM for additional info or offers and pics of the engine out of the car...
