Is the the TB a stock LS1 TB? is it ported?
what is needed to install the intake on an '00 LS1? just reuse intake bolts and torque down? I'm still a newb with these motors, thanks for your patience.

It is the stock 78MM TB from the GTO.
As far as I know you just swap this out with your current intake. I am not aware of any required modifications to do the swap. You do reuse the intake bolts. I even reused my stock bolts with the FAST I installed.

What is nice about getting the throttle body with it is that you can send yours out to have it ported without any down time on your car with this extra one. (if you chose to go that route. It also makes the swap even easier as it is a direct bolt on this way and you don't have to mess with the throttlebody.

so was there an increase in size from a 1999 ls1 to a 2004? what are the specs...i may be interested.....

voodoo, this IS and LS6 intake, you can tell becuase the floor of the intake is flat, ls1 intakes dont have a flat floor.

 

sorry, have small monitor, hard to see the pics on the 1st page, but I wanted to make sure. I m rebuilding and trying to make sure every purchase is perfect, I have a budget, and dont want to buy something I dont need.
But yes, I can see what you mean, saved pic and blew it up in photoshop. If owner will take my offer, I will buy tonight.
