Brand New 409ci LS based engine I have decided to sell my long term project. It is beginning to cost more than I want to spend right now. I havent driven the car for a long time now. I have for sale a 6.0 block that has been bored .035 with a 4.0 inch Eagle crank that makes 409ci. It is a complete shortblock. I originally bought the block from George Lara, it is the one that was in his camaro. I had it professionally built by Jim Grubbs Motorsports. It comes with a 4 inch Eagle Crank, Billet Main Caps, 6.125 inch Scat rods, JE Nitrous forged pistons with 5cc valve reliefs, Akerly and childs extreme piston rings gapped for a 200 shot of nitrous, 238/240 605/608 114 Comp Cam, Double Roller Timing set, ARP main studs and rod bolts, All brand new block plugs, cam bolts, front and rear covers. It also comes with the oil pan.The block is painted chevy orange and the front and rear covers are powder coated silver. It looks great. My loss is somebody elses gain. I have all the reciepts from Jim Grubbs for the work that was done. i have over 5200 dollars in it. I am asking $4400 OBO for a quality engine that will make some serious horsepower.
