Sounds like you may have miss spelled the email address when u sent the money and it either went to someone elses account if they didnt claim it or it didnt go to anyone and is just sitting in a merchant bank. If it still shows unclaimed and didnt go to an account you can cancel the unclaimed payment by going into the details of the transaction and there should be a cancel button. I work for paypal so if you have problems let me know ill look into if for you.
