Default question regarding intake mods.

i am going to be going with a k&n fipk 2, and am debating on the intake elbow.

trickflow makes 4 different elbows, a ceramic coated, a plain alumunum, black powdercoated, or a black resin elbow, which option would be the best?

coming from the mustang world, any form of metal in the intake system (not manifold, etc) was frowned upon due to the fact that metal conducts heat faster, potentially increasing intake temps.

should i go with the plastic resin elbow for that sake? or should i not worry about it? or should i go ceramic?

here Trick Flow's page regarding the options...

thanks.

a 1LE will work fine. it looks just like the stock one. except it doesnt have the donkey dong on the bottom. really works great toward the sleeper look too. my car should run low 12s on street tires and my engine bay looks completely stock except for a subtle cai
