Orrtanna, PA my man. Its near Gettysburg. Funny you mention that, my one friend already asked me if I'd take her for a ride once I get it. Can't wait, this'll be my second vehicle I've owned (I'm 19 btw) and I'm sure she'll serve me well.

Funny story how I cam upon the car actually. My teacher was driving us back from a lab (I'm currently a second year Forestry major) and decided at the last moment to take an alternate route back to school. Well we took some back woods farm roads and low and behold here she was sitting beside a silo near a farm. I came back after class and looked her over, contacted the seller and bam! haha

I guess it's not too bad compared to whats others pay, but me being a poor college student means bare bones coverage for now! I'm going on my own policy too.

Hey guys I have a question. The car has the cold air intake running through a hole in the driver's side and the filter is positioned right infront of the driver's side front tire. Now my question is do I have to worry about sucking up water with the way that filter's positioned? Its a K and N filter btw.

Should I relocate the filter into the engine bay?

I know I know, I'm going to go look at it again tomorrow and let dad give it a spin incase he feels/sees something I might have missed. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go ahead and get it. I'll snap some pictures while im there.

Only thing I'm gonna try is to work a deal with the seller so I can trade my blazer through a local dealership for the bird. I'll get lowballed at the dealership, but I won't have the risk of not being able to sell my truck through this economic hard times.

My trans am had the same problem with the passenger side door unlock not working, it was actually the door lock actuator that went bad. It cost about $30 to get a new one from GM and about 30 minute install. The driver side window probably just needs a new motor, they are usually bad on F-bodies.

If you don't go through any deep puddles, you will be fine. I had a CAI like that before I put the Lid on my LT1. I had a littpe piece of Aluminum on it too, I made it prety much Ram-Air Induction.

Ok, thanks. Now if I did relocate the filter to inside the engine bay would I run into any problems with the warmer air?
