Default LT4 conversion or just intake manifold?

Hi all. I bought my 93 formula a while back and got it for a good deal, however the seller party said he knew the intake manifold was LT4 but didn't know if it's a full conversion. I know a LT1 veteran could tell by just riding in it, but this is my first LT1 so I don't have a good grasp.

What I know it has is a hypertech Thermocool ECU (want to replace with a custom burn, but don't know what internals the engine has for sure!) , magnaflow exhaust, Moroso CAI and the Intake manifold is indeed an LT4. What else can you tell me by the pictures?

*I know the CAI here is a cheapo, I had to order a new air filter for the Moroso because the one that was on it was in terrible shape

Simply could have painted the intake manifold red. You need the LT4 heads for the LT4 manifold to work

Not an LT4 manifold. The LT4 has a fuelrail crossover trough between thefront ends of the rails.

The LT4 intake is NOT an upgrade over the LT1 intake either.

Nope, as stated above, that is a red 1992-93 LT1 intake.

I suppose I sould say that it is possible to use an LT1 manifold on LT4 heads and it does NOT affect power, it may however affect the reliability of the gasket seal at the tops of the ports. The LT4 head has taller ports, the LT4 manifold has LT1 ports just has more metal above them to seal to the head, some of that material can be removed to port match but like I said as delivered the ports are LT1 ports in the LT4 manifold.

The crossover for the fuel rail was adde in 94.

hmmm....cool thanks. It does have the "AC ROCHESTER" markings, but I don't know if that really means anything.

I'm trying to recall so it may not have been 'ac' but it definitely is something rochester

Rochester has been making fuel system components for GM and maybe others for a LONG time. The old quadrajet carbs are Rochester.

Were is the best place to pick up a set of pacesetter LT's and off-road Y? I've been thinking about doing that, but prices are kind of steep (for most brands)
