Default What all needs to be done?

Hi, this isn't exactly an lt1 engine question, but looked like the best place to post it. I am going to be putting a lt4 hotcam in my 1996 k1500 and advancing it +2degrees at 109ICL. I was wondering, would the comp 918 springs work well with this camshaft in vortec heads, as I don't want to have to machine the heads in order to accept valvesprings if at all possible. In these SBC's, is it reccomended for 7.400" pushrods as in the ls series?

I'm not the expert on this, but if you ever get on gmperformanceparts, it says the lt4 hot cam works with mostly all sbc. Get on there and see if theres an e-mail you cans end your ? to

I would search http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forums/...n/performance/ I think the Lt1 cam or the LT4 cam would be better suited for most street 350 applications. The hot cam doesn't have a great review that I have seen. I would look into the roller compcam for 4x4 I think it is the extreme version. you can find it in a summit catalog.

Most people think that, but when installed 2degrees in advance at 109ICL, it makes GREAT torque down low. I saw a magazine ad, cant remember what magazine, but it made 325ft-lbs of torque at 2200 rpms.

Oh, and What length of pushrods do I run? 7.400"?
