Impala SS pushrod lengths?
). Anyways I believe I installed the incorrect size push rods for my car. I installed the 7.200 size, but I think that this is giving me my current problem. The valves are staying open to long and that's why my car is acting up.But that's my question. Does anybody know the stock size push rod for an Impala SS?

Thanks for the info, I wonder if I just have the wrong size, (didn't check the length, I know stupid move, this was my first time doing a cam swap). But first I'll checkout if the rockers are too tight, thanks merv.
One more question. When Bauer specd the cam he told me to run the nsa comp cam pro mags. I couldn't because I found out I had an Impala motor with cast iron heads. With that said the rocker studs are press fit so I couldn't install the new 1.6 rr's. So would this **** me up, because I'm running the stock 1.5s instead? The cam is a beefed up cc503 btw, nothing that big. I wouldn't think so but I figure it's worth asking.

Also another update the car pulls real strong. It just needed an adjustment. When I floor it the car pulls like a rape ape. I definitely feel that cam. It's still kinda crappy on regular driving but I think that's just how it's going to be. Not crappy like it's going to die or anything (the idle is real smooth and steady), just some decent vibration in first gear around 15-20mph, but that's probably the cam. Again this was my first cam, I'm not use to such a significant switch. I think I just needed time to get use to it.
