now thats pretty creative..where did u get the top pulley from? and does the alternator bolt in place of the ac?

yes this set up works nice, I bought the pulley from parts america. Here is a link to how I did it. I also have some pictures of how I did mine if you have a problem. Also I have one for sale if you dont want to make it.

I see Mad Steves is about $50 bucks less. Aside from the $$$ I want to be sure I'm getting a quality reliable product and don't mind spending the extra $$$ if one is better then the other.

There are a few low mount/short belt style ones on (cough, cough) ebay. For $60... But requires you to purchase the smaller corvette lt1 alt, and a belt...... lame. Found that out the hard way,

Mad steve looks like he's got some good prices on his kits. :tup:

Our Alt. Relocate comes with the grade A mounting bolts, aluminum spacers and nylock jam nuts.

Let me tell you if the kit doesn't come with spacers like the madman kit you might as well not buy it...

done right you'd have to spend a few hours on a lathe to make something that works that doesn't look like a bunch of 1/2" chrome nuts stacked out to 6"!!!!!

the madman kit comes complete and works really well.... I just wish they'd powdercoat it (HINT HINT STEVE!!!!) LOL.....

I'm running this March Underdrive Pulley set up...will this alt relocate kit still work with my set up? I would imagine I will prob need a different size belt for Larry's kit...??
