ok guys im swapping out my 355 long block for a complete lt1 tomorrow and i was just wondering if a th350 trans would bolt up to and work fine with the lt1. this motor will be a back up for my monte carlo project car.

 

a turbo 350 will bolt directly up to an lt1. i have one in my lt1 powered chevelle and my lt1 powered silverado p/u. make sure you run a modulator line from the trans. to a vacum source at the intake. it wont shift right without it.

 

Can you use the LT1 flex plate with the torque converter from the TH350?

 

yes. have to use and lt1 or late model flex plate.
