Exterior Mods:

SOLD my SS HOOD (dont know if im going to regret this or not yet)

Currently running stock z28 hood but will eventually replace w/ Cowl hood

Exterior Thoughts:

Trade my 97 SS spoiler for 98+ SS spoiler
Trade SS wheels for somethng new
New paint

Ok before anyone asks yes my car is a true SS but had to change out CAI because I couldnt close the hood with the new valve covers. Thats also why I elected to sale the hood.

Thanks Lets here it

Nice ride everything looks fine except for 2 things. The ported/descreened mass air sensor is very sensitive to those modification and it will net your very little gain....I suggest getting another one. The restriction of air starts with the air intake then the throttle body so u have a cai now get a tb. Also you said ur heads are stock? When u did the cam swap did u get new springs? If not I highly recommend getting the correct springs that will allow more lift cause if u don't u will damage your engine with the high lift cam! I have the cc306 and I used the comp cams 986-16 springs rated at 600 lift plenty for that cam, and many ppl here use beehive springs..not sure the of the part number though.

sounds like a good set up, i agree with the last post as for the springs on the cam. Ur car will look sick with the cowl hood and the 98-02 ss spoiler im gonna be doing that same thing on my z28.

The car is in the body shop right now so no new pics.

I knew I would forget something when I wrote this long thread. LOL

Im running the CC918 beehives, corrected orig. post.

As for the MAF that mod was done when I bought the car so had no choice on that.

Oh yeah u must have missed the mod 52mm BBK TB. Already done. Wouldnt mind having a mono blade TB though.

riceburner, wasnt ******* u man maybe come acrossed wrong sorry for the misunderstanding. Actually I got a few bugs right now the first time on the dyno resulted in running a little rich so we put it back on and leaned it out some but now im throwing a random misfire code with no signs of a misfire (ie wires sparking ect.) Car idles down to 500 everytime i stop but does not stall. Asked my tuner about it she said she might have forgotten to delete the PO300 code indefinitly from the ecm this last time to counter the larger cam so im hoping changing that will fix it. But wont happen until I get it back from the body shop.

Anyways dont have many pics but this is what i got. I posted a couple cause i think they are cool. In the rear view mirror pic mines the red car. In the other im the last car on the right. Keep in mind these pics are a tade old so dont have the ss hood no more. Sorry will get updated pics as soon as I get the car all caught up. Enjoy
