Default Help me decide

Hey everyone! New to the site and just picked up my first V8! My first question I've got for you guys is I wanna stall this thing. I will probably just use this as a daily driver vehicle so I don't want anything too radical. Ideas of what brand I should go for and what size stall Thanks for any feedback.

Welcome to the site..

Far as a stall goes, I would look into Yank Convertors. If you DD I would recommend something 3600 and or lower. I'm in the process of putting in a Yank SS3600 and from what the guy over there told me, with our set up and having 3.73 and what not..the 3600 was by far the most popular. Said it wouldn't be bad for a DD..guess I will find out here soon Maybe someone with a little more knowledge will pipe in!

Hey thanks for the advise! I'm looking at Yanks web site here on another page.. Yeah my fear is I end up putting something too big in and not like it.

Yeah that would blow to go with something you hated in the end. There's some guys on here with stalled A4's..I'm sure they will be helping you out

A stall is something to NOT cheap out on so I recommend you go Yank, Vigilante, or Circle D. I run a Yank SS3600 and love it! I personally feel anything smaller is a waste but that is just me. I use to DD the car with the 3600 and 3.73's and loved it, however it could be a bit much for some I suppose? I would say you should figure out your future plans and discuss them with someone from one of those companies so you get something with the right stall speed, shift extension, and str for you. All three of those factors play an important role.

When you do Stall it I recommend a Transgo HD2 Shift Kit along with a B&M 24,000 Trans Cooler.

EDIT: "Yank It and Get Off Quicker!"
