Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got an lt1 396 what heads an cam package do i need to make serious horsepower. Motor has 11:1 compession. The setup I got now only made 355to the rear wheel. It has 58cc dart pro1 alumium unported heads with and Com cam XFI 280 cam. This is an street car but was looking for more horsepower than. Car only ran 12.32 on motor. What you guys think?
I think you got other problems. The car should be making a lot more power than that even with those heads and cam. Is it a 6 speed or auto? What MPH did it run at the track? Is it a f body or another vehicle?
Yeah man you are way down on power. Has it been tuned? Does the thing seem to run good? Any apparent misfiring? Does it seem to be leaning out? Do you ever hear it pinging?
