Default OBD1 High stall fix?

Im having this problem, and I thought I had a fix, but it didn't fix it all the way, just partialy..Anybody have one?? I don't really want to convert to OBD2,but I hear that is the only way to completely get rid of it.

might want to clarify on what exactly is the problem. Did you put in a higher stall and you're now having problems, does your car just idle high, what are the mods you've done, need a lil more input

ps, sorry about some of the questions, I read high idle problem instead of high stall problem, bet i look like a dumbass now, lol.

With 94-95s if you go over a certain stall speed it wont want to shift. The only reason i hear is because the computer is to slow. I have no such problem in my 93.

Now that I have re-read it, there are a few cases in the OBD1 and OBDII setups that have problems once the higher converter is installed. Many of them are the 1st to 2nd shift or the 2nd to 3rd shift where it wont shift at all. Most cases are taken care of by raising the rev limiter (putting a larger gap between the shift point and the rev limiter) or by lowering the shift point a tad. That usually takes care of the issue in most cases. Sorry for the initial questions i asked that had NO bearing at all in this situation
