LT's or Shorties?
Getting headers for the 95 Z and I was wondering if I should go LT's or shorties. I heard that LT's are a pain in the *** to put on and you also need an aftermarket Y-pipe. I heard that shorties are easier to install and you can use the stock y-pipe but they dont give as good sound quality? So any opinions would be great! Thanks!

LTs were really not a whole lot more difficult than shorties to install.
Just get the car high and high on some medium jackstands (not the tiny 3ton ones that wobble when you get up above 12")
The performance difference between LTs and shorties is huge.
Once I put mine one, I couldn't believe I ever wasted my time with mids.
Stock Y pipe is not going to me much use with LTs, you need to order one or have one fabbed up to mate with your catback.
Which is good, because you want that nice 3" pipe all the way.

Well, from what iv noticed all the rage lately is for the LPP stainless longtubes, LPP also has the matching y-pipe. I have not done much research but thats what everyone is going for.

Pacesetters are a very good choice, ceramic coated with these is a must. They give you the option of an off-road header or you can still run your air and egr Pacesetters have one of the best fitments/ease of install out there

Thats what I have, with no Y-pipe. We installed in 30 minutes or so, but we was dropping a new engine in so the old headers were already off.

There aren't many sets left so I would jump on it asap if you are going to go with the LPP's
