Question On Muffler im thinking about buying this spintech muffler and tips off this guy for 40 bucks...is it worth it?
does anyone have a clip of what it sounds like
and whats the power gain on changed the stock muffler setup to something like the spintech muffler?

Sounds like a flowmaster, probably flows a little better than the stock muffler but dont expect much, id say 5 horses maybe 10 if it flows really good.

I replaced the stock muffler with a Magnaflow single in/out muffler, still stock manifolds and cats. Based on my track times I probably gained about 10 or so rwhp. Of course a Magnaflow is a completely wide open design, not sure about the Spintech, I think that is a traditional baffled muffler. But if you don't want to spring for a full catback and can get a decent muffler and tips for $40 I say go for it.

i had a SLP cat back and offroad y pipe on my other camaro and that thing was WWWAAAYYYY to raspy and loud and popped alot too
the true duals x pipe with magnaflow cans sounded bad *** on my trans am i want more power deep sound but not super loud like a slp
