i love my magnaflow exhuast. its got a nice low pitched growl in the low RPM's to it that opens up at WOT and sounds nasty.

just whatever you do, ditch the flows.

I've owned and ran both Flowmaster and Magnaflow with LT's and ORY and the Magnaflow was wayyyy nicer. My vote goes for the Mag especially since its pretty tame yet sounds extremely clean and deep. When you get on it its ***** out which is really nice but IMO Magnaflow is the 2nd best catback for our cars. I use to also have GMMG which was very nice but probaly a bit too loud for what your looking for. I had Magnaflow with a Cutout and it makes for a nice combination that you can switch back and forth too depending on your mood.

Sounds like I can't go wrong with Magnaflow. I guess the only reason I didn't like them before is because they are pretty quiet with stock manifolds thats why I always liked the slp's they sound good with stock mani's but headers and Y pipe it seems like the situation flips.

And I agree with the GMMG if I didn't have to worry about tickets I'd be all over it being louder.

I always heard no exhaust is the best exhaust

I personally run two Megan N1 straight thu mufflers with two high flow resonators at mid exhaust to keep the noise levels in check....... Flows better then any exhaust muffle system around..Not to loud....All on Ebay for $150-$200 tops.... Helps to have mandrel pipes or even better straight pipes... Good extractors/Headers as well... No cats too. etc...

The slp resonator is on passenger side of the drive shaft. I ended up selling that to a friend and I got his flows to quiet it down for a bit. The cops in this town are stupid about exhausts.. I'd love to run it with the slp's but once I get the e-cutout I'll have the ability to sound basically exactly like the slp's did, but always have the choice of it being quieter too haha. I just want it to sound good when it's "quiet" too, unlike the current setup..

do you still have the LM1?? ...if so, why not get the PowerFlo conversion from SLP?

http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=31086

you can add a cutout before the axle if you ever want to return to the old sound
